I just received an email from HMRC addressed to accountants who interact with HMRC on behalf of clients and their need to register with HMRC through a 'new single digital system', by May 26. They do state that a paper version will be available to those unable to digitally register. I wonder which one I'll choose!!

The comparison with patents and intellectual property really hits home. People who would defend these legal rights then go on to dismiss the self-evident ownership of one's own body in relation to forced medication. It makes no sense. It reminds me of those who are absolutist against GMOs in food but fine with injecting them right into their bodies and insisting everyone else should do the same in order to 'keep everyone safe'. I can't even begin to get my head around it!
Clare, where can I get hold of a solicitor that is not corrupt? I don't care if they are banned, barred, whatever, as long as they are available and not going to be immediately influenced. I am trying to get a case into court and EVERY effort is being made to stop me. H
Some taxation is for rental income from privately owned property. Income from assets rather than from employment work. The property "earns" the income rather than the person who owns the property, so this is slightly different? That said, someone worked hard to earn the money to purchase the property in the first place.
