The mail certainly got the conversation going regarding euthanasia in the comments section where many people disliked the idea of a pod with the gas but did suggest other methods that would be more acceptable and maybe less stark. It seems the acceptance of euthanasia has been put into the minds of people so that they are now not discussing in principle if it is right or wrong for a doctor to put an end to your life but are discussing what methods should be used. It seems the only argument now is the method of putting an end to someone's life not the ethics of it.
