Because we have no real media holding power to account that power goes unchecked and grows out of control. The global media landscape even including 'alternaitve' is very grim.

I'm astounded by how many people do not know they are making decisions as a result of these tactics.

As for media, I'm almost sure now that MSM is just a co- opted govt propaganda arm full of secret service operatives - especially the BBC, Guardian and Telegraph.

Like you say "alternative media" also leaves alot to be desired, hence the term MAM

There is no one fighting for the common man or woman. It's one big happy establishment family and that now includes the many popular 'alternative' influencers. It's a big ''awake'' (to profits) club and i'm not in it.

Yer knocking it out the park of late with substack posts. Defintely get more out of these than about anything else i read on here. ;-)

Good article along with the nudge unit you also have the Behavioural Insights Team and have you come across the Mindspace document that came out in 2012 Influencing Public Behaviour through Public Policy https://www.instituteforgovernment.org.uk/sites/default/files/publications/MINDSPACE.pdf

Another great article, as Biogyphenom already said.

Re: UK Gov / Terrorism Act / political aims etc - IIRC, ALL the political parties were in lock-step with lockdowns and rollout of the pharmagarbage. And the devolved administrations were positively WET / PRIAPIC as a consequence of the opportunity to flex their muscles, to push their people around, and REALLY whip those local arms of the wider UK State (NHS, Police etc) into compliance with their myopic 'Independence' (VERY SMALL 'I' for Welsh Labour) agenda.

The more you look at it, the easier it is to conclude that 'we' exist only to fulfil the needs of the state - we are a 'blob' of GDP, Red / Blue voters, NHS resource consumers, etc that are to be managed.

Representative democracy is a sham in the the Five Eyes countries, and wider Western Europe. It probably always was, but it's so obvious now that they are barely making an effort to hide it.
